Please keep us posted on your progress. I hope all goes well.
That's something I'm currently trying to figure out... For the longest time I wanted a front engine setup for the toy hauler idea, but this happy accident fell into my lap. No matter the orientation of the engine though, I wanted to load the equipment from one side of the bus or the other and not the back.

I'm open to ideas if anyone has any! If I can't make it work in any logical way I won't let it be the hill I die on!

If you are doing a roof raise then you might get it tall enough that you can just make the "garage door" where the emergency door is. On my RE Thomas the emergency door is not very wide or tall and the roof curve starts low enough that it would be difficult to ride or push a motorcycle through without either raising the roof or cutting some of it away.
You can make it happen. Just plan ahead and cut/rebuild what you need. That is one reason bus builds are awesome.

That's why I've always been interested in building one. I've been playing around with the dimensions. I'll be making different virtual builds to see what might work best.
