88 Chevy Thomas built skoolie

Hey guys! So I am currently converting a Skoolie. She runs and drives fine and the framing and layout is going great! The bus has a 4cylinder motor on the side that runs the industrial AC using a 28 volt alternator. I know I can buy an additional 200 amp 12v alternator and connect it to my power supply to run the bus.

My question is: has anyone has success doing this before? And if so, does anyone have information on maintenance on the 4 cylinder? Dumbest thing ever; I need to add fresh gas but don’t see where to add it. I believe it may be mixed with gas and oil? Need some solid advise before I start tinkering
