Thanks Tango, why do you think that was so popular in the day, additional light?
I used to live in a bus for 4 years and the escape hatches in the roof were transparent, a lot of people, mainly artists mentioned that they loved the light in the bus.
In my current build I mounted a pieceof lexan in my escape hatch, and indeed I love the natural light.
