Ain't too proud to beg 😬

Hello! I'm new to the site but probably about a billion (rough estimate) hours deep into having and living in a skoolie. My boyfriend and I just broke up and it seems I'm really gonna need to figure out a housing solution for me and my little one.

If anyone is interested in helping us along, I've started a gofundme here!

We're KT and James and want to join the community and somehow still manage to survive!

Thank you ❤❤❤❤

Hello KT,
I don't know your circumstances or what venues have you exhausted for help but...
Have you tried talking with a social worker from the department of children and family.
It might seem that building a skoolie is the way out right now, but perhaps there are other options out there.
Some of those nice skoolies have thousands of dollars into them. Just a set of new tires is expensive.
Wish you the best,
Raul

I don't think you need our money.
I bought my bus totally broke and unemployed. If you want it bad enough you'll make your dreams happen. None of us can do it for you.

Not sure what bugs me more, the original post or your motivational videos.

Einstein was once quoted as saying:

“The most important question you can ever ask is if the world is a friendly place.”

Welcome !

We hope you are able to follow your dream!

Find someone in the area to help build their skoolie to glean practical skills and experience. There are free buses out there, but as mentioned, they will require feeding of dollars. Learn as you go and maybe whomever you help will even let you stay in their project until completed, if you contribute enough. People help people who help themselves.

I like CB's videos and message- it is uplifting for someone looking for a path to a dream. I sent the first video link to a baseball team I coach that is heading into playoffs on Saturday.

First-post asking for others to fund your lifestyle is a bit of a turn-off, as crazy alluded to.

Best of Luck !
