This is my buses battery box and. It looks like big truck batteries will fit in it

My bus takes 2 - 8d batteries.
I have heard of people putting 2-3 of a smaller group.

2 g31's > one 8D

The 31's are also easier to pick up and move around.

looks like you have tie downs for 2 group 31 batteries. leaving room for a third if you wanted it.
