Bought a bus!

Hello all,
I recently purchased a 73 int'l Loadstar that I am going to build into something fun! Got a great deal on it and will be doing the mechanical work to start.....Superior bus body, 345 V8 with auto trans....I know it does not move fast but I am a huge fan of old loadstars.......Seats are already gone and now I need to remove the backpack shelves from the ceiling. I appreciate all the info on this site and look forward to hearing from all of you as we go!
Jaymi

hit go advanced, then look down until you see attach files, click manage attachments. Then choose a file and upload, it will resize it for you

Nice bus. Mine is a 71. The old 345 are great engines, but do run a cool plug in it for all out highway driving.

Will do....This one is automatic so I probably will not be going more than 60 at any given time...

Look for our build thread "our bus" here are a few outside and one of the kitchen.

Ours was automatic and I put a manual in, and went to bigger tires, 10R22.5. So comfortable cruise is 65 to 70.
