Bought Our New Money Pit

Just brought home our 2009 Bluebird Vision. It has a Cummings ISB 200 and an Allison 2500 transmission. Only 109,000 miles. It made the 150 mile trip home with no problems, except the front A/C didn't work and it was 108° outside. Plan on using the bus on short visits to the lake and perhaps one 5-6 day trip per year.

Congrats and welcome to the madness, hope you never have to take it in for service. Money pit is right, try not to cry when the check engine light comes on. LOL

Nice bus!

I would love to find a shorty with that ISB/2000 combination.

It's actually 35' long. Looking to put a computer chip in to get a few more horses out of it. Ran down the freeway doing 70 mph just fine.

Don't think you can tune the Cummins in those Bluebirds. Completely different ECM setup as well as different injectors/turbo/etc.

It doesn't quite work like that.

Running down the highway at 70 MPH just fine sounds decent to me!

the 6.7 ISB's have a following in both pickups and MD.. tuners do exist for them in medium duty format...

I just want to get to the point where I don't have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach every time I start my bus - or try to start it.
