Building on a 1996 Bluebird International Learning as I go, any advice?

Hello! I've recently bought myself a 1996 Bluebird International from a school corporation. I've already got almost all of the seats out currently. I was wondering if anyone might have any tips or suggestions? I have never done anything like this before and I have a bit of trouble with understanding the mechanical aspects of the vehicle. Right now I am stuck on getting out the underseat heater in the back of the bus.. So any advice with this would be appreciated as well as advice with anything else that may soon come up.

2 options

1)leave them alone and build around them

2)close shut off valves and take heater lines loose, drain into buckets and floor and cap off, or take the heater lines loose at the shut off valves

a couple bolts should hold them to the floor, also don't forget the power wires to the heater, they need to be removed or at least taped up

You will be draining out Anti-freeze which can be deadly to animals and slippery as can be, it WILL NOT evaporate so what ever gets wet will stay wet

That WILL BE ANTI-FREEZE coming out of the hoses, so handle with care, especially if you have animals.

Also, If I remember correctly, don' you have to loop the hoses together if you plan to keep the front one (which we did)???
