Chapter 1

Good morning,
My name's Jeffrey, and I'm planning on picking up a bus soon to convert into my home. Drawing up plans, have bus in mind, waiting on a settlement to go through.

I know that I need to make it winter ready, and have it so I can pull my flatbed with my car on it.

I work as a commercial divers, so I tend to travel for work quite a bit. Rent makes no sense.

Like I said, right now it's about planning and logistics.

Thanks a lot,
Jeffrey

welcome.
are you an instructor,recreation,salvage,bridge work,demo.
used to love diving but its been awhile?
i had my PADI cert. at 16 and was a local rescue squad recovery.
then i was a marine swimmer/diver as needed or at least trained exstensively up to 96
then the family kid thing happened.
now kids are grown and gone but not quite gone and my wife is a travelling MLT lab tech or easier for some a glorified traveling nurse and we are looking for her a good short bus.
what size bus are you looking for?
its also not a good idea to haul oxygen bottles in a vehicle so that would mean a solid rack outside to store them at least to protect the valve heads. the bottle itself will be fine but the valve caint take the same force.
oxygen is flammable in that capacity? well it can fuel a fire. if a nitrox mix then it aint cheap?
properly secured is all i was saying.
welcome

Looking at a 39' dog nose. Looks like it is to be a medical bus.

Dive wise I'm construction/ hardhat diver.

Work Alaska and PacNW mostly. Companies provide gas and mix, so I'm not hauling anything but my bailout and stuff I'm wearing in the water (wetsuit, drysuit, & hot water suit)
