for CNG what about refueling time.. ive always heard that refueling time can be lengthy depending on the vehicle and filling station.. I guess with CNG its easy to install a gas furnace for heat and a gas cooking stove

I work on Garbage Trucks that run on CNG, they average i.8 to almost 2 miles to the gallon! They MUST be filled every day or they will run out of fuel before completion of the work day. If the Truck is used on an extended route, the truck must be filed before mid day to insure it does not run out of fuel!

Garbage trucks in general are poor on fuel mileage. They are designed for constant stop and start, often have non-lockup torque converters, and very low gearing. There really is no direct comparison between th expected fuel consumption and capacity between the garbage trucks you work on and the bus the OP purchased.
