Colorado Couple Joining the Skoolie Life

Hey All!

We are an early 20's married couple from Colorado, currently living in San Francisco. We've been planning on doing a conversion for quite some time and are finally on the right track. We are working and saving in the Bay area until we can move back to Colorado by December to work on the bus on my in-law's land.

Our first step is finding a bus that we think is worth the renovation. At first, we found one right in our hometown (where we'd be doing the renovation), but things did not follow through how we had hoped. Currently, we are trying to find a bus that we can park on their land until we can move our roots back to CO. We don't have adequate parking/storage space where we live in Cali, so we're trying to figure out the best route to go.

Does anybody have any tips on searching for a bus that you can't necessarily check out in person? Or if we found it nearby, possibly finding someone to ship the bus to the in-law's land?

Just a couple of newbie's hoping to learn from other people's mistakes before we make our own! Cheers!
