Converter to power skoolie lights

Hi guys I have a 91 Bird, I have ac power done but I want to use the original interior bus lights as my light source, without draining my bus battery, I have a working converter from a 78 rv, but I'm hesitant in where I should hook up the converter, any clues would be great

You would connect your converter to the bus wiring at the switch where the lights are currently converted. However, you have to connect it on the load side of the switch to avoid energizing the rest of your buses equipment.
