Post Don't own...yet!

Hi,

My name is tmoat, and I have just started looking into the lifestyle. I had been looking at campers and RVs and the like, but I would very much prefer starting from scratch with a bus. I have thought about it in the past, but I think it's much more of a reality now that I have time and money.

I'm in East TN and am relocating to Colorado here in the summer and would like to purchase/convert something as quickly as possible (or purchase a half done project) so I will definitely be asking a lot of questions.

Welcome to the site.

If you haven't already found one, you'd probably have better luck finding as rust free a bus as possible by waiting until you get to Colorado.

Good luck, and post pics if you find one and get into the hobby...

Hello from Alaska. I’m still very rooted, but am working on getting things ready to unroot, move down south and buy a bus. My plan is to convert a bus to live in for two years while I aimlessly look for a new town to settle down in. I’m thinking trying to go as minimalist as possible considering I have always held onto everything and want to free myself from endless amounts of possessions. Anyways hello.

This can be very hard to actually do, but totally worth it. Fewer, higher quality possessions beats more, lower quality possessions.
