Dreaming of a Skoolie Space

Good day All,
My name is Leroy and I am brand new to the world of skoolies. A few months ago, a friend suggested that I convert a standard size school bus into a mobile office for the nonprofit of which I am executive director. Since then, I've become completely enamored with all things skoolie. I'm here to learn everything I can before taking the plunge. All suggestions and ideas are welcome!

Cheers and Thanks,
Leroy

Welcome !

Because of your non-profit use, you may be able to get your local school district to donate a used bus to your cause, or at least discount.

For an office, check out bookmobiles or police mobile command busses.

Welcome to the fold! If you have any specific questions just ask. If I can't provide an answer, I'm sure someone here can.

Welcome Leroy,

Things vary across the country. When I worked for the guberment here in Washington State we could not sell anything directly to an individual or for
profit company. To sell to them we had to go to auction.

We could sell directly, and cheaply, to other government agencies and 501C3's

I think that you may be in a good spot to buy directly from a local district.

Good luck!!
