Of the whole country to choose from, I would not buy a bus from that area or anywhere within 500 miles of there. Budget some money to travel for your bus for the right, rust free one. You'll save money and frustration in the long run. Welcome to the madness.

As the owner of a rusty bus from Buffalo, don't buy a bus from around here. Dealing with the rust and general leaking issues will cost you thousands of extra dollars and months of your time, and probably shortens your lifespan with the toxicity of the stuff you have to use.

Far better to spend (a fraction of) that money on a one-way plane ticket and a hair-raising thousand-mile drive in an unknown school bus from someplace warm and dry.
