Family on the move
Family of 5, been living in a bus full time for 4 years now. We started out in an 86 GMC Vandura short bus we got off a friend for $500 but it was a constant mechanical nightmare and we ended up replacing nearly every major part. In April we found a 2009 International bought in a parcel at auction from the school. It's 27' (7 windows) and everything we dreamed of while crammed into our little guy! We travel the country in the spring, summer and early fall and spend the cold season working in Washington state.
Our major questions now are:
How much should we expect to pay to have the back half of the roof raised about a foot and where do you get that done? What's it look like/ cost to install an a/c system?
