Feelin Adventurbus

Hi everyone! Brendan here!

I've been dreaming about converting a small school bus for the past few years now and I've finally bought one and have just gotten started; it feels nice to finally start taking action!

I'm 21 and I've just finished 3rd year university studying Phys. ed at Queen's in Ontario. I have one more year, then teachers college, so I might take a year off in between to travel. Either way I'll be living in the bus while at teacher's college and travelling all summer once I'm a Phys. ed teacher. I have the bus at the park I work at for my summer job and it's very convenient because they have everything I need to work on it and my bosses are quite knowledgeable guys.

My bus is a 5 window, 2000 Chevy, bluebird body with only 170K on it. I bought it off of a private school for $2300 and the exterior is actually in great condition: good tire tread and almost no rust, which is impressive considering the amount of salt on the roads during Canadian winters. Haven't gotten to test the engine really because I can't get it insured until it's an RV which meant I had to get it towed to my work which was quite expensive.

Anyway, thought I would say high and introduce myself. I've got a lot of cool ideas for my bus that I'm excited to make come to life and share with everyone. I'm sure I'll have lots of question too.

Cheers,
Brendan
