Oh, I should also mention that that is easily TWICE the value. I bought my entirely rust-free CA bus for $5K

Why did I buy it?? 'Cause it had the Cummins 8.3 and no emissions. She runs sweet and I enjoy driving it. Tracks true and steady. Its all i could ask for as a foundation for my build. But yes, rust is such an evil to deal with Vs cleaning up leaks and squeaks. Either way, congratulations and please post pics of your new toy and journey. I think the journey to bring it back will be the most fun part. I believe we all need a reprieve from the stresses of todays climate.
Thank you for the kind words! We have an idea that this will be a wild ride and are trying to prepare as best we can. We're seeing it as an adventure and a way for us to have more freedom. I'm very excited to join this awesome community!

We've been looking and anything that's not an auction vehicle is selling for at least 7-10k or more. Prices may have changed since COVID hit because more people are looking for alternatives to RVs? Not sure but they're not as cheap as you mention and I haven't see anything we like anywhere near CA.
