Giant Woodie

Just thought some of the Crownies out there might get a kick out of my recent update of a 1971 Crown. Its a Turbo'd Cummins 220 (now 262 hp) with a road ranger 10 speed, on super singles. I've had it for 25 years and this is my second configuration. Went to woody theme, added 900w of solar with 6 235ah 6v deep cycle batteries. Everything but ac powered by solar. Just drove it 5500 miles as shown from home (southern MO) through RushmoreNP, Black Hills NF, Yellowstone NP, Grand Teton NP, Yosemite NP, over to the west coast, down PCH to Doheney, over to Vegas, through Grand Canyon NP, Petrified Forest NP and back to home. Performed flawlessly! Enjoy!

Welcome! Cool Bus. I like the color choices. That sounds like you had a great road trip.
