Greenhorn in Ohio looking for advice!

Greetings all!

I’m living in Columbus, OH and new to the community here. I’m very excited to continue learning from you as a newly registered member of the club! I’ve been toying with the idea of converting a bus for a while now and the agency I work with recently decided to sell their retired community vehicle. I was able to get a wild deal on it and may have pulled the trigger a little prematurely but hey, when opportunities arise right? It is a ‘93 Bluebird TC2000 with about 120,000 miles on it. Approximately 35ft. I’ve read some mixed reviews about that model but again, the price was too good and I think my longer term plans for it involve it being rented out as a ‘botique’ cabin. I’ve been able to mostly gut it where I am currently living but that situation is about to change - my new neighbors aren’t as excited about my project and my landlord is asking that I find a new place to park it. Do any of you more seasoned individuals have any insights of where to park a bus in the city? Looks like RV storage is getting tight with the weather turning and I’d prefer to not have to drive 45 minutes with materials anytime I want to spend a few hours tinkering in the beast.

Cheers everyone and thanks!

Okay, first thing you'll learn about old buses is the speedometer is the first thing that fails. They get replaced with a new or used one without correcting the mileage. The odds of your bus having only 120k is highly unlikely. Typically a 93 will be more in the range of 250k. Highly likely you will have floors rusting out of it. What engine and trans does it have, 5.9/ AT545, most likely. What was the "price too good" to pass up?
