Greeting new member, first time builder.

Hello there! I found this forum and hope to use it to figure out my build. I spent the first three years of my life in a bus on the infamous murder mountian in southern humboldt in the early 80s. I’ve always had a fondness for the bus life and when the schoolie thing started to blow up on the internet I decided to get one. I found a 2007 thomas c2 with 132k and the Mercedes engine Allison trans and hydraulic brakes to avoid air brakes. I spent 3500 on the bus with another 1200 to get it here from milluake. I found it in Racine WS but the bus has been used by Illinois school District. There is a little rust around the rear door jam and the rear lights. I want to raise the roof up but not sure as I don’t weld. Anyways I would like to thank everyone for this resource this site looks like a lot of people have used it and are using it and I’m excited to join!

I don’t think you'll need a roof raise. Looks to be high roof already.
