Talking Greetings from Australia and Belgium

Hi guys,

Nice to see there is such a friendly and active community of bus lovers on here!

My partner (Australian) and I (Belgian) are new to the site, we are arriving in Florida in a week's time and are hoping to buy a bus asap so that we can commence a conversion.

We know some people in Texas who we could hopefully get to serve as the registered address for our vehicle, so we are planning to buy one close to Texas, but much more than that we don't really know.

Does anyone have any tips on cheap places to stay/ places to rent tools in Texas?
We're also keen helpers, if anyone is able to offer us a place to stay/ tools to borrow in return for us working around their farm/ house?

We're considering the below two rigs:

https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...ccess#question

https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...=1&acctid=9562

From Texas we will be venturing across the south, and up the east coast to Canada. If there is anyone along the way that would like us to stop off for a cup of tea and to chat about our comversions, we'd be more than happy to!

I have a bus for sale in FL.
And we are doing a full conversion on my full size bus in Apopka just north of Orlando.
If you are in the area stop by and we can have tea or coffee, or a beer.

Welcome!...You might send a personal message to member M1031A1. He can give you contact information to buy direct from school districts close to Houston, Texas. Very clean and well maintained buses. Best of luck!

I know you are headed east but if you ever make it to Arizona or want to see the Grand Canyon, feel free to stop by. I don't drink but a tea sounds nice.
