Greetings from Canada!

Hi everybody!

I am a newbie with school bus conversions but my wife and I just love what we see here. We curently have a RV (Toyota Sunland Express 1985) that we like a lot but 3rd kid comin' up and we are missing some space for the next summer. We also have the project to become full timers in the next few years.

I have a question so I can start my research with this. Can you give me advice on what to consider and what to avoid?

Good engines:

Front or Rear engine:

Diesel or Gas:

Good models:

Good transmissions:

Thanks a lot and I hope to talk to you soon!

I suggest you start at the home page and use the search feature. These questions are asked and answered about 100 times.
Engine : dt466 (my preference and what I am looking for)
Trans:MD 643 or my preference the 3060
I want a rear engine for the driving comfort.
As for model... What do you like... Ford, Chevy, Dodge... Get the point lol
For durability and fuel consumption diesel in any engine
