Greetings from King William, Va

Hi-I've been lurking for a while and decided to join. I'm a handy type with a background in residential construction. I'm looking hard at the online auctions with an eye for a smaller bus. The plan is a mobile artist studio w/indoor plumbing; if that works then we may go for a full conversion w/a larger bus in the future. I'm ready to go but my wife is not quite as excited as I am-hence the cautious approach. I've enjoyed reading many of the posts on the forums and all I can promise is that I will start a thread when I get a bus. Its good to be here. Thanks, Marc

Welcome, Marc! If you're serious about building a bus, the best investment I can recommend is to spend a couple hundred hours (not kidding here) reading this forum especially the build threads.

Hi-Thanks for the welcome-I've been on here pretty consistently for the last couple of months-mostly in the electrical area-because that's where I'm weakest. I'm shopping hard and will post when/if I get "skooled".

I've got a line on a couple of shorties not too far from you.
Wanna go check em out for me?
Maybe snag one for yourself!

Hi-Sorry-I missed your post. I'm willing to look BUT I'm not a mechanic. If you tell me before hand what to look for I'll be glad to do so. Thanks, Marc
