Greetings from the West Slope
Hi all,
I have a 1967 MCI and a 1949 Crown. The Crown was converted in the very early 70's by my family as their tour bus. Currently on it's 4th engine (that I know of) 1st was a IH Red Diamond engine, then 2 Hall-Scott 504s and finally a cummins 220. Originally belonged to the Filmore Unified School District and was a trade in to Crown for a newer coach. We purchased it from Crown in 1972 and it has been a member of the family since then. Both of my folks have passed and now I have inherited her. Granted when we purchased her I was the only bus driver in the family (working for Roesch Lines at the time) so lots of teaching involved. She has been coast to coast at least 30 times that we can count. Still runs like a champ. Time for her to get 'some' drivetrain upgrades.
