having ideas!

so... i need a small, sleeping-kinda-guest-room space at home (electricity would be nice, don't need plumbing) and am considering converting a short bus? because it would also be awesome to take it on the road occasionally!!

basic question: anyone know if this is a reasonable undertaking? is there a way to make it comfortable 4-seasons in new england? i'm comfortable with wood stoves, but what about the heat??

and weird question: i have four icelandic horses (small horses) who i have previously taken places in a stock trailer behind a truck. in england they use horse vans, which design i have much admired. anybody have ideas about carrying an 800-pound animal in a short skoolie? my guys are brave travelers, i just don't know if this has been done!

thanks y'all!

As tall as the floor is off the ground on a bus, it might create issues loading horses. Then the door heights are not very tall, so modifying the door may be necessary also. If building for New England I would definitely strip it and start with some appropriate insulation to handle the winter cold and the summer heat.

thanks! i was imagining replacing the entire rear of the bus with a slant loader, as is common in horse trailers. (possibly one salvaged from an actual large horse trailer.... the older horse vans one sometimes finds also run very high.)
