Head room

I see so many potential school buses for sale, and I want to jump in so bad, but their height worries me. I’m 6’0 tall and my son and right hand man is 6’2. He does not want to bend over every time he goes in the bus. Is there a model, year, style, or type of school bus that is a standard 6’5 in height. We can raise the roof if necessary, but want to avoid all the extra work if something else is possibly available.

I am a little taller than your son, so any bus will need a raise for me. Don't forget to decide how much insulating you want to do and subtract from the sides/ceiling/floor.

I believe there are only 2 choices in school buses, 6'3" and 6'6". It is important to add a layer of insulation on the floor, depending on how thick you will lose that headroom. A roof raise may be in your future.
