Hello

Hi All!

I'm Chris, current resident of NW Georgia. My wife and I have decided to full-time RV in a Skoolie beginning in just under 5 years from now. We have decided on a Bus type, domicile in SD, and several association memberships.

We will be doing a slow and professional level DIY conversion.

Still in the research phase, but will be buying our bus in the next year.

Hi and welcome!
Making the decision 5 years out gives you a great advantage. You can be deliberate and take your time to research and build. Many people make the decision 3mo, 6mo, 1yr before they want to hit the road, and struggle to meet their deadlines.

When you say you have decided on a 'bus type' what exactly are you referring to?

We know we want a fullsize (35-40 feet) preferably rear-engined flat nose, but will accept a good conventional. We'd like to buy one in the southeast US, and would really prefer one with underbody boxes installed. Seats removed is a huge plus!
