Hello

What a great community! Is there a forum rules thread? 'Just wanna make sure I'm a good boy... Since I'm converting a cargo trailer, not a bus, I wanna make sure I know where/if I'm welcome given the commonality/overlap between the two. Are there other cargo conversions here? If so, where? Also, since I'm new to the game, are there other discussion forums specifically for cargo trailer conversions that I should look into?

top slightly right side of the home page is a search window. Type in "Cargo conversion" and that will bring up some conversations on that.

Welcome to the site....

Mobile or Attached?

Welcome to skoolie.net, BuildingOurDayDream. Yes, there are other members here who already live or intend to live the same. There is a Totter-Home in my neighborhood. Very similar to our skoolie building specifications. Will you transport it frequently or try to stay put?

re -- cargo
.
In about a half-century, we converted (among others...):
* two semi-trailers
* a 1984 Peterbilt coe
* a 1959 Flexible bus
* contractor cap on a pick-up
* two empty FourWheelCampers
* and in 2003, a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle.
.
Nearly two decades full-time live-aboard in our ExpeditionVehicle.
GVWR -- 29,000#.
Weight across the scale -- 14,000#.
I like cargo.
