Hey everyone! I'm new here (guess that was probably clear).

My husband and I are getting really geared up about taking our life on the road with the skoolie we plan to convert. We're in the 'save the crap out of every penny' phase right now and hope to be on the road by as late as this time next year. Or, at least by Jan 2013.

I can't begin to tell you all how excited we are, but I figure everyone here has experienced this same excitement. I've spent a ton of time on here reading all about electrical, plumbing, alternative fuel conversions....EVERYTHING. I love it!

Also, I have to add how impressed I am with those on this forum. Most places on the interwebs, ESPECIALLY forums, tend to be less than hospitable. You all seem SO nice and helpful. I'm glad to be a part of this online community. Now, onto more reading.

We haven't bought ours yet... but also trying to save tons.. I am a single mom so hoping i will be able to find good deals and already have some help recruited...

My dtr and I plan to be on the road in 2013 after she is done grade 8...

Not always! Sometimes we can be very cranky (especially me). But overall, we generally play together well.
