Hello everyone

I first learned about school bus conversions a few years ago and was intrigued but I kept looking at RV's but unhappy with the prices and choices. I'm ready to take the leap building a schoolie but realize I need to research a lot before I drop any cash on a bus. I'm looking for a short bus but that wont extend out of my driveway, my guess is about 24-30 seats. I've seen so many buses online the past couple weeks my eyes are gettin' squirly. I'm between one of those type A buses and a shorter type D. The type A is a bit short but I have seen some that are a tad longer. The type D's I like because of the rear engine. My budget is going to decide for me though. I definitely want to modify a door for a co-pilot like Sportyrick did. Excellent job. I like that style that is used in most RV's. However I realize I need to learn to weld or find a really good friend who can weld
I'll be around here soaking up everything I can like a spunge and trying to narrow down the vehical that I can convert to a small to mid-sized RV. Thanks for having me.
Cheers, Helwoe!
