Welcome! --- What a sweetheart. Great to see another vintage Chevy shorty. And very likely the shortest shorty here! Looks to be in pretty good overall shape too. Do you know who the body was made by?

Wow! That makes Tango's and my shorties look like a Greyhound! Welcome and keep posting pics--that's important because most of us Skoolies can't read. Jack

Info for the Chevy truck chassis it is based on will tell you a lot. Most likely a one and a half ton but it could be a one ton. Chevy has very complete "Information Kits" (online manuals) that are a huge help at their Heritage Center. Check them out here...

IF YOU GET ONE MORE VOLVO DON'T YOU GET A FREE SET OF STEAK KNIVES ??? just kiddin'..... sure do like that little shorty you got yourself, looks to be a sure fired lit' party bus if there ever was one. you could drop that body on a newer frame and have all the goody's...... disk brakes, power steering, diesel, auto, v-8, maybe even AC, tires would be cheaper, chrome wheels..... that body might fit a lot cheaper than rebuilding or up grading
