Hello from California

So I stumbled on to this site and idea a few months back when I was looking for a 7.3 E series van. Then I started dreaming of how much better it would be if I could just stand up all the way. So u started looking for a E series with a 7.3. I have a 7.3 in my F350 and love these motors. So I went and found a 95 7.3 Girardin 5 window short bus. It's a really clean bus. West coast vehicles rarely have much rust, and this bus is an Aluminum body with Gavanized ribs. The plan is to make this more of an adventure bus conversion. Surfing, Mtb, ski, and camping trips. We are going to try and leave windows and door openings as unobstructed as possible, since we live mostly outside anyways. My windows and doors in my homes pretty much stay open all the time, unless it's snowing sideways.

Yeah, I am also a fan of the Dana running gear, which is why I needed to find a bus that was a good candidate to do a 4x4 conversion. It's gonna cost me alot to do, but it's really what I need for my lifestyle. Plus it will be cool and its the way they should have made the vans in the first place.
