Hello from Central Texas

Long time lurker and information gatherer here...

Soon I will be travelling to attempt an 800 mile delivery of my "new" bus.
2007 International pusher with DT466E, MD3000, cruise, drive AC.

Because I've enjoyed reading your stories, I'll try to share my deliverance tale as well.

Also, I hope there is no rule against duplicate bus names. I have had my heart set on "Succubus" for a long time. Now I just discovered a forum user named succubus.

"Ink You Bus" would be a good name for an itinerant tattoo artist's bus.

Made it...

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Made it back home with the bus. Because the trip was surprisingly uneventful, it will harder to draft an interesting account of the adventure.. But I'm working on that in the background.

One thing that did happen is that I reflected further on the bus name and decided to go with Wildebus rather than Succubus.

Going back outside now to finish yanking the seats. I can confirm that this phase of skoolie life really sucks in the 98 degree Texas heat. High school kids are disgusting what they deposit in and around bus seats.

Apologies, looks like a couple attached pics are rotated incorrectly- trying to figure out how to fix that without reloading ...

I convert my pics to PNG before uploading to avoid the rotation problem. The JPEG file format includes a parameter for orientation, and phones and cameras tend to set this and then web browsers render the pics with that orientation. PNGs don't have this parameter so they're always rendered however you sent em up.
