Hello from Colorado

Hello everyone, I am new here so I wanted to say hey....

I just bought my first bus a few weeks ago.....

Its an GMC vandura 3500 short bus...It's been converted into a camper before I bought it...Needs a paint job and some other things need addressed....

I never started out to buy a bus but I needed a way to move my belongings from Pa to Co and to rent a truck was around $1400 one way...

So I thought why not just buy something for that much money so I started looking at cargo vans, ambulance and buses...Took a while to find a good deal but I found it in this bus....

It's a 350 gas engine and was already converted into a camper....price $1700.00 The engine was already replaced but I have no way to know how many miles is on it and the odometer is not working...Also the gas gauge isn't working either...

Anyway glad to find such a cool forum for us bus people....hehe

I need to resize my pictures to upload here but will do that so people can see it....

Thanks and hello everyone !!!!!

Host them offsite on a site like Photobucket, Imgur, or Flickr (all are free), and use the provided URLs to paste on to the message boards.

Refer to this handy guide below. Photobucket should have provided a list of code for the images. There'll be one labeled BBCode (Message Boards and Forums) or IMG. Copy and paste that bit of code into the message board

I'm doing what seems to be the thing to do from photobucket but it's not working.... I copy the file from the img window of photobucket but when I try to upload on Skoolie it says it's not a valid file....

It would be easier for me to paint a picture of my bus and mail it to everyone on here....hehe

I have a whole folder saved at photobucket but cant bring them over....

I was excited for people here to see it....

I'd love some hand painted bus art. My wife and I recently procured this beautiful work of art.

Its going to need new floor carpet ...I'm also looking at better seats with seatbelts since these don't have any belts and the head rest don't sit high enough...

The fridge that is in it has a broken door and a few of the built in cabinets have locking latches that I don't have the key for so the doors just flop around when I drive it...hehe

It might need a new thermostat cause the temp seems to go up and down from a little over 100 to almost 200 as I am driving...

a new paint job and some chrome hub caps would be nice as well...

It has some kind of heater built into the back of the bus but it's not blowing hot air...

Has a cassette player so I need to update the music system too...

some work to be done for sure but I love this thing !!

thanks again for all of the help loading pictures...

I have a few more that I need to load to photobucket.

Nice ride.

As for the cassette player, get an adapter like the link below. I used to use one in my truck.

Amazon.com : BESDATA Universal Car Cassette Player Adapter with 3.5mm Male Jack and 2.5mm Plug Adapter for iPod, iPad, iPhone, MP3, Mobil Device, Black : MP3 Players & Accessories
