Hello from Dry NorCal.

Hello everyone, first of all I want to wish everyone a Merry Thanksgiving.

My name is Chris and I am new to the forum. I have a 1956 International IC School Bus (Shorty) that was transformed into an R.V. some 20 years ago.

It is in really good shape, runs and drives with its original I-6 engine and 4 speed transmission with a "brownie" (secondary transmission) that might need to be rebuilt as it makes a lot of noise.

It no longer has any of the RV interior as I want to redo the floor and put some comfortable bucket seats.

Anyways, since I am not sure how many of this shorties still exist, I am interested in hearing from other people that have or might know more about this really awesome busses.

Hoping to hear from y'all.
