Hello from Montana

Hello!

I am here as part of what seems to be an emerging quest to return to how I ended up in Montana in the first place, on a converted school bus. It wasn't that converted, a simple school bus with a wood stove and a bunk really, but it was all I have really even seen at this point.

Lurking has taught me a lot, but I also value the input of folks who have more experience than I do. So, I'm asking for input.

What I bring to the project is time, cash resources but live in a town that has an awesome repurposed store and tool library, the ability to teach myself just about anything, and a hardy nature.

I want to build something big enough for two people, resistant to Montana winters utilizing a cylinder outfitter stove I already own but with a gas range/stove, completely solar powered but be able to integrate within the grid, small blackwater/greywater systems, and a sturdy, more universally part accessible bus.

Any input folks have is greatly appreciated. Links even more appreciated.

Is that going to be a back roads bus or are you thinking of hitting the highway?

More like being able to "hide" a little in towns, as well as be back woods able, would be ideal.

A number of us share the theory of anonymity. There's sure to be examples of whatever you might like to have in a bus here.

Do you have a bus yet?
