Hi all,

First of all thank you for all the great info on this site! It really makes the whole idea of buying a school bus seem a little less crazy.

My wife and I just purchased a bus in Colorado this week and plan to convert it for extended vacations with our three small boys and eventual 4th child.

Here are the details on the bus: 1995 International 3800 School Bus, 180914 miles, Diesel DT466 International engine, Alison AT643 automatic transmission, Air brakes, capacity 77, GVW 30000, fuel capacity 60, electronic brake retarder


I will be picking it up on Monday.

More fuel=more range=more fuel option$.
