Hello from North Texas!

Hello! I live about an hour north of Dallas and just purchased a 1997 International 3800 a few weeks ago! Drove it about an hour home and then to work where I have a 36,000 pound lift and checked it all out, Im a mechanic for the local Rural Electric Cooperative. It was in service with a school district less than a year ago so all checked out great except for a couple of new front tires which I have ordered. I drove it home and then out of the blue a get a crank and no start. Jacked with it for about a week chasing some wires and finally found a bad relay at the IDM, all is well now and it runs like a top! Should have all the seats pulled out by the end of the day!

Nice bus! Welcome to the forum. You are already on the right start by diagnosing an issue some people may have paid hundreds for. Wish I had a lift to work on my bus! I have some under work needing to be done and not looking forward to laying in the dirt on my back!

Thanks!!
I really am lucky to have this at my finger tips. Me and another guy I work with had all the seats loose in about 30 minutes, amazingly enough every bolt and nut came out with ease!
