Hello! From NY

Hi everybody.
I have been using this website as a resource for some time now, but my girlfriend and I just finally got our bus. It is a 1993 AmTran Genesis that was previously converted into a mobile command post for the police, fire and ems service (if anyone knows someone who wants a bunch of cop radios and other cop stuff lmk). We are very excited to get started tearing things apart and raising the roof!
My first question is this. At 10.75 feet current roof height, am I crazy to think we can do a 30" raise? We 'd still be legal to drive, but is it feasible?
A little more background, we plan on using this bus as our full time residence, and don't plan on driving it anywhere. We would still like it to be driveable in case we move or sell it.

Thank you!

PS: this bus looks great it still has a light bar and everything so pictures are coming stay tuned
