hello from PA

Finally came home with a 1998 E350 srw corbeil powerstroke.
We camped with 2 kids and dog for several year in an e350 7.3 IDI 4x4 converted ambulance. The ambulance was rusty and the IDI lost a head gasket and we needed something slightly bigger.
Saw a you-tube from Robb Allen about his 4 window hightop collins e350 and thought that he had a great layout. Anybody on this forum has helped with that bus?

This is a 5 window bus, a bit to long for off road. I will leave it first like that and later shorten it if required.
It made the trip back from North Carolina. Had to fix the rusted rear heater pipes on the road. Good enough with loosing more then a cup of coolant.
We had 300 watt of solar on the ambulance BULAN and that has to be transferred to the corbeil. Also the 4x4 goes under the corbeil so it will be a nice project.

Thank you,

We have another powerstroke and it does well on WVO. Bought the ambulance with the idi because it would be easier to work on but the idi injection pump is not so strong on WVO, also the power higher in the mountains is limited so back to the powerstroke.
We make 2-3 weeks trips from PA to Miami and pick up WVO along the road so you do not know how good or bad the fuel is.
