Hello from Portland, OR

I've been looking at skoolie homes for about 6 months now. I showed my husband about a month ago and he came back to me and said... Hey how about instead of moving to Spokane, WA and building a house... Why don't we just have a nice skoolie built and be nomads.



This is pretty much my dream so to hear him say that was awesome. He has never mentioned wanting to live that lifestyle to me before. So I was floored.

We've got 3 girls, (age 5, 7, 9 currently) and 1 border collie who will be on this journey with us.

We are a few years out from living the dream. So I'm just here for inspiration and to get to know the community.

Damascus, OR here. Welcome! I bought my school bus almost a year ago and have been working on making it ready for some travelling adventures this summer. It's is being built to hold my wife and I and 2 kids 4yo son and 8yo daughter.

Awesome! We are still on the fence about whether we will build ourselves or outsource to someone else.
