Hello from Puget Sound!
Hey all, I'm sorta new here. I've been lurking on and off for about a year, mostly just getting a feel for whether it's even vaguely possible to live in a bus...
Apparently it is!
I picked up my bus about two weeks ago. It's a 2000 Thomas MVP RE, 72 seats.
It had the full list of features that I was looking for, and I found it just a few hours away from home!
It's got: Cummins ISC, Allison MD3060, 78" ceiling, and pass-through belly storage.
It is incredibly rust-free. I've already got the seats out, and I only had to cut off two bolts.
I got it licensed as an RV through Barb's in Snohomish with absolutely no trouble.
The plan is to make it into full-time, permanent living space. Eventually it'll just be for me, but for a couple of years there'll also be a teenager and a cat... should be interesting.
Thank you all for all the information you've already shared with me as I lurked. I look forward to sharing my journey with all of you. I'll get a build thread started soon!
