Hello from Roswell Georgia here just got my bus

I just bought a 1997 B 800 5.9 L6 it's 99% converted I just have to put a water tank in and pump. Also gotta connect solar and I wanna put cameras on each mirror left and right and in the back. It already run with 110 doing the bus I wanna run some 12 Volt stuff other than that it's in good shape oh by the way it's Turbo hope to meet some of you on the road the buses name is the mangia mangia bus. I just retired and I wanna see some of the United States to move into the bus full time. I'm a retired chef and I wanted to teach cooking on the road and do videos YouTube channel then it's called Chef Santas Culinary Travels/ I also want to give back to the veterans and also cook for the homeless. I'll have more pictures in the future

Greetings from North Georgia. That's a nice lookin' bus and conversion. I hope that bus has air brakes and not the often-cursed-at Lucas Girling hydraulic brakes that Ford loved to use. Some have been unable to find parts for them, or found parts extremely expensive, in addition to not many mechanics are familiar with the intricacies of servicing that particular system.

Mine's an '01 IH/Bluebird short bus. T444e engine, 5 speed manual, 5.38 rear gears, air brakes. Has a wheelchair lift in the rear. I still have some work to do to it such as:

Swap rear gears. Debating something around the 3.73 or 3.91 range.
Reprogram computer for new gears, other programming changes, enable cruise.

Paint/body work. The yellow needs to go. White roof, not sure about the rest.
Lower entry step rusted out/needs replaced.
Add trailer hitch.
Tint windows.
Add audio, cigarette lighter/power outlets.
Remove old seats, rubber floor, plywood. Remediate floor as needed. Add new flooring (carpet maybe?). Add replacement seats.
