Hello from Virginia

Hello everyone. We have been taking trips in an RV to see if that mobile/tiny lifestyle would work for us. Now we are looking for the right bus to start our own conversion project. Once we find it, we will start posting our progress, but I wanted to thank all the helpful pioneers who have shared so many of their experiences here. We've been reading the posts for some time and have learned a lot...and hopefully will be able to avoid some of the mistakes others have already made.

Welcome from another Virginian! Where are you? I'm just outside Christiansburg, which is near Roanoke.

Rust Free comments

Thanks. We've been looking local so I can visit and crawl around the underbelly. My biggest concern is a damaged frame (bent or rusted) so I want to be able to put my hands on it before I purchase. Also considering Texas as I have to go down there in May for business. Thought I could possibly find something while there.

Welcome

I'm in Lynchburg, VA. Got my Shorty on eBay from a nice fellow in upper PA.. 2001 GMC cab with a Mid Bus rear. Very well taken care of as it was a Head Start bus. Now it's going to be my big crazy work truck with an eat in kitchen!
