Hello from West Texas!!

My wife and I just brought home a short 1995 International Carpenter Bus which we will turn into our home away from home... We plan on going gravity and compost for shower and toilet..but Rv electrical setup. Photos of progress to come. Any tips welcome. We are complete rookies

Welcome fellow Texans. I hope your post catches the eye of Chris. in Fla. I believe he has a similar bus, and may be able to answer questions. Where in West Texas are ya'll? My wife is from Abilene, and we get there as often as we can.

Yall aren't far at all.. Were in Big Spring right down the road... Hopefully we can be ready by the summer and we would definitely like to go to a skoolie gathering. Luckily my father in law is an awesome handyman and has been a huge help....were making great progress this first week.
