Hello... New to this site, but not skoolie life.

Howdie, everyone! I'm still figuring this site out... so I apologize in advance for messed up posts, etc. I bought my skoolie years ago... maybe 12 or 13 years ago. After living in a friend's RV for a summer in the Colorado mountains (working my way thru college), I realized a solid piece of steal was truly the way to go. I found my skoolie (88 GMC Carpenter) for a deal-steal and started working on it right away. Circumstances proved that living in my new home was required and for the next 6 years, I did so. I loved my "simple" life. I adapted to this and regret at times for leaving it behind for buying a house. Anyway, no gripes. I love my bus... hate when people judge, or won't allow it (infuriating to say the least!!), however my skoolie has opened many eyes to this alternative lifestyle. It has also allowed me to be the true human I am... free.

Thank you... Colleen (Skolleen8
