Thumbs up Here goes nothing...

So we finally did it. We finally pulled the trigger and bought our skoolie!
Hi, everybody! It's great to finally be a part of this community. We are David and Christine, a husband and wife skoolie team based out of Kentucky. I am a pet pharmacist that works 7 days on, 7 days off, so essentially I have 26 weeks of vacation. Christine is now a stay-at-home dog mom for our 5 dogs and 1 cat. We don't plan on having kids, so we want to take our fur kids on all our adventures and really put those 26 weeks to good use!
We plan to convert our 2002 Thomas/Freightliner FS-65 into a 30 foot motor home, with built in kennels. My wife and I talked for years about doing a tiny house and traveling, but could never quite pull the trigger. This year, we discovered the skoolie community and were instantly hooked. And this week, we finally stopped dreaming and bought a school bus. It's going to be a lot of work, but I think we are up to the task. We are currently filling out the paperwork for the Vermont registration/plates. Wish us luck!

Welcome guys! A "tiny home" + "traveling" = a Skoolie. Have fun!

Hey I recognize that bus. Glad to see it's still alive and kicking, and in good hands.
