Heya from the Denver Metro area!

Hi! Im Briana, I am an artist, I am 30,and im just starting to collect information on
Bus conversion.

I know basically nothing about the process and
am pretty much doing the groundwork for eventually purchasing
and re-doing some type of smaller variety for fun as a
vacation/roadtrip vehicle. Biggest areas of concern are any of the paperwork involved in registration, insurance and titling followed by figuring out how to get the best engine performance out of such a beast.

Would love to touch bases with some folks who have experience with this kind of thing in the Denver area in particular : )

Hi, Briana. I lived in Colorado for years, but I always had too much going on to get started on a bus while I was there. It's a good place to look, though - the buses there are more likely than most to be well geared for mountains and relatively free from rust. I did live in an RV for about a year while I was there. It taught me a lot about what I will not do when I build my bus.

Welcome to the madness! I also love CO. You're concerns about License and insurance are likely unwarranted concerns; most of that stuff goes pretty smooth. I'm in Utah, our laws here are pretty liberal with this stuff, I can only assume Colorado is not much different.. Good luck! Keep us posted on your search progress.;)
