They are for sale, because we are selling them? Defiantly dont sail in them and we are not sailing them. but we do transport them!

As a mechanic I can't imagine paying those prices even for a 40' RE diesel let alone 4 and 6 window cutaway vans. And that 6.0? I'd never buy one of those.

You've sold one or two in how long a time frame?

Our 40' RE transit (with transit windows) diesel was $5500.

I paid $500 bucks for my second bus, 2006 40' Amtran RE, with a/c and 6 speed already opened....but it needed a rebuild...that cost me almost $6 grand in parts alone...friends helped me with the labor...but now I got a zero rust bus with only 2,000 miles now on an in-framed motor....!

Obviously location is a factor, I'm in the SE where short buses are far and few. The northern cities use them for schools because there's so many different routes and moving in the big buses are hassles. in the south we use the big buses for school district. But yes, you can find buses for cheaper, but if you are not a mechanic bus maintenance in general is unbelievably expensive. Thanks for the input tho!
